Mine have scars and freckles from working in the garden too often without gloves. I have callouses on my fingertips from years of strumming the guitar. The blood veins are dark and raised. The nails are in need of a manicure. My knuckles are beginning to show signs of arthritis. But they have felt the fevers of sick children, touched a baby’s cheek and have shaken the hands of a couple of Presidents and they are me. How do you feel about your hands?:

Why Do My Hands Close When I Sleep?
February 4th, 2010When I sleep both my hands close automatically. I try sleeping with thick gloves on to prevent them from closing, but when I wake up my knuckles are stiff and painful. The pain subsides quickly as I start to wiggle my fingers, but I’m not sure what is happening or why. It doesn’t sound like symptoms of carpal tunnel or arthritis, but could it be early stages of arthritis?
Does The Parafin Come Off Your Hands Easy?
January 31st, 2010I’m think about buying a paraffin machine for my arthritis in my thumb. I’m told they are good for that. Should I buy plastic gloves to put over my hands?
