I can’t determine which of what I’m doing makes the pain go away for days after it attacks for few days. I do therapy but it recurred. I put warm bag/warm compress on my lower back now and I use some natural therapy cream made of ginger, virgin coconut oil and peppermint which seems to have stopped the pain so far. I don’t know if it’s just the nature of arthritis that it stops then recurs at any given time and I don’t know anymore whether what i’m doing now is the one that makes the pain stop.

February 23rd, 2010I have a 9 year old Rottweiler (named Belle) who is having some trouble with arthritis. She is becoming more stiff as the nights get colder, I’m doing what I can for her. I let her sleep on my bed, and on the couch when she’s in the living room. I am also giving her Bayer Asprin (I asked my vet about the appropriate dose), but she is still limping a bit through out the day. I’ve seen compression gloves mentioned. Do those help? Is one brand better than another? Would they help with hands that aren’t swollen? Are there tinctures that would help?

February 2nd, 2010Hi, I’m 12 and wondered if it was possible that I’m developing premature arthritis. I never ever stop shaking. If I hold my hand out at any time it will be shaking like mad, I never feel cold or scared and my blood pressure is on the lower side for my age. I have very long, thin fingers they are size xxsmall but are so long that I have to wear men’s sized gloves. Now my ring fingers and little fingers are going looking really bendy and wonky. I wondered if this was arthritis and if it’s a problem. I hope it’s not ‘cos I love to write, play the flute and sew and if I did have arthritis that would mean I couldn’t do those things well wouldn’t it?
